Our story
Built by a tradesman
Steve Nejasmic founded AIK in 1989. He arrived in the United States with hands-on experience across the trades: demolition, drywall, flooring, millwork, marble and tile.
That background still shapes how AIK works. Steve and his team are not just builders; they are artisans and craftsmen with a deep understanding of architecture and design. A principal stays close to every job, from the first walkthrough to the final finish. Today AIK builds for hotels, restaurants, fashion brands, offices and private clients across New York.
